The United States men's national team are on the brink.
The USMNT are in a tough spot in the group stage of Copa America 2024, after a 2-1 loss to Panama on Thursday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
They face Uruguay — their highest-ranked opponent in Group C— on Monday, knowing that they will need to at least match the result Panama gets in their group-stage finale against Bolivia to advance without outside favor.
There is little pressure on Uruguay heading into this fixture after they trounced Bolivia 5-0 last time out, but expect Marcelo Bielsa's side to continue playing aggressively as they look to lock up top spot in Group C.
